Wade Chandler began his artistic pursuits as a  youth in Pensacola, FL. His first exposure to major art museums was in Berlin, Germany, while serving in the United States Air Force from 1972-76. Inspired by the great art he experienced, from Rembrandt, to Matisse and Picasso, he made the decision to study art when leaving the USAF. 

Chandler holds a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of West Florida, and an M.F.A. in Painting from the University of South Florida and is currently residing in Salem Oregon.
