Black See Series

Black See Series is a series of photography done without a lens. Starting with a camera without a lens set in a black box, the sensor is transilluminated by passing light through transparent and translucent glass or plastic. This creates a rich and dynamic field with both dramatic and subtle associations. These pieces suggest a pending storm and rising seas. Titles are from the names of islands of the Marshall Islands, which are some of the first islands to be dramatically affected climate change. This series is ongoing. Prints are available.
