Blind Spots is Wade Chandler's current series. Blind Spots brings together Chandler's interests in painting, photography, prints, landscape, and light and color as well as environmental concerns. Major components of this series are the shifting horizonal bands and Chandler's embrace of alternative camera techniques, such as intentional camera moment, multiple exposure, image stacking, and AI assisted image generation. This work is evocative of the range of light and color of Coastal Oregon and Oregon's Willamette Valley.
"Light Moment" is an abstraction with a dynamic blend of horizontal bands sweeping across a watery field. The color palette is rich and varied, featuring a mix of cool and warm hues such as purples, blues, pinks, and orange shades, with hints of white and teal adding contrast and depth.
